Approximately ten Ukrainian drones were shot down or intercepted over the region late Sunday evening (Eastern Time), according to the governor.
Their fragments fell on an industrial enterprise, causing a fire. One person was injured as a result of the fire.
The Baza news channel on Telegram, which is close to Russian security services, and several other Russian news channels on Telegram reported that two explosions were heard near a plant producing ethyl alcohol in the village of Krasnoye.
Reuters notes that it could not independently verify these reports, while Ukraine has not yet provided a comment.
Kyiv often emphasizes as Reuters reminds us, that drone attacks on Russian territory aim to destroy infrastructure crucial for Russian military operations and are a response to Moscow's continuous attacks on Ukrainian territory.
