This is another spectacular operation by Kyiv aimed at the Russian enemy. This time, Ukrainian intelligence, together with the Navy, attacked a Russian gas platform in the Black Sea. Dmytro Pletenchuk, a navy spokesperson, confirmed this in a conversation with the media.
Attack on the gas platform
As Pletenchuk reported, the occupiers used this location (one of the Boyko towers) to falsify GPS signals to "make civilian navigation more dangerous." "Through it, they also disrupted the normal functioning of the grain corridor," he added.
The Boyko towers are drilling platforms in the Black Sea, which were built by the Ukrainian Naftogaz in 2010. In 2015, less than a year after the annexation of Crimea, the Russians took control of the towers.
After Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Kyiv decided to attack the Boyko towers and recaptured some of them.

As Pletenchuk added, the Russians transferred equipment and military personnel to the platform about a dozen hours before the attack. "There were no civilians," he assured.
Approximately 40 of Putin's soldiers were stationed on the attacked Boyko tower, outfitted with intelligence equipment.
Kyiv's spectacular operations
In recent days, Ukrainian intelligence has carried out a series of spectacular and exceptionally painful operations for Russia. On August 7, the Russian base in Morozovsk in the Rostov region was completely destroyed.
Drones also fell on a military airfield in Lipetsk, Russia. "It's all on fire. Look at what's happening there!" terrified residents shouted. The authorities declared a state of emergency in the region. Due to the ignition of the aviation ammunition depot, a decision was made to evacuate the surrounding towns.
After the attack, the authorities of the Lipetsk region decided to cancel all entertainment events in the region.
