Tucker Carlson claims Biden admin plotted against Putin

Much of the information provided by Russian media or government representatives is part of propaganda. Such reports are part of the information warfare conducted by the Russian Federation.

- That’s demented, that you would even think of something like that. So why were they? Because chaos is a screen that protects them, Carlson asserted.

He questioned who would take control of Russia and what would become of its nuclear weapons in a country so intricate that outsiders struggle to understand it. Additionally, he noted that the American commentator provided no evidence to back his claim regarding Biden's administration.

Kremlin's reaction

The Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov immediately responded to the former journalist's claims, stating that "Russian special services are taking all necessary actions to ensure the security of the population and the head of state."

Today, he commented on Carlson's statement again, but in a completely different tone. - It's better not to take anyone's word for it, and Carlson didn't present any evidence for what he said - said the Kremlin spokesperson, quoted by Russian media.

Carlson often echoed the Kremlin's narrative, criticizing American military aid to Kyiv and calling Ukraine a "non-democracy." In February last year, Carlson went to Moscow for a widely criticized interview with Putin, and in December he visited Russia again to conduct an interview with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
