Donald Trump confirmed his priorities for the beginning of his term
The winner of Tuesday's elections also emphasized that securing the country's borders and initiating the "largest deportation action in the country's history" will be his main priorities upon taking office. According to CNN reports, Trump's team is already in discussions with private sector companies to prepare for the deportation of over 11 million illegal immigrants. When asked about the costs of this operation, Trump stated that the price does not matter.
According to NBC, Trump stated that there is no alternative, as these individuals have committed killings and murders, and drug lords have devastated nations. He added that they will need to go back to their countries, as staying here is not an option.
Trump's significant lead and polls
Donald Trump managed to convince Americans once again. He secured 277 votes, while his rival Kamala Harris obtained 224. This result was surprising for many because polls suggested that the candidates might receive nearly equal support.
The polls indicated that any outcome was possible, and just a few thousand votes could decide the ultimate victory.
