Are you having trouble with oily, flat hair? To add volume, mix a teaspoon of this product into your shampoo. After drying, your hair will gain unprecedented volume.

Hair care is not as simple as it seems. Our obsession with hair care has shown that we know little about hair. Only recently did we learn that hair can be low, medium, or high porosity.

Cosmetics should be chosen according to hair porosity. Although there is a wide variety of products, the market lacks shampoos for those with flat hair. It turns out there is a way to give them volume. You don’t need mousse, powders, or specialized sprays. You need one product you probably already have in your kitchen cabinet.

Add a teaspoon to your shampoo. Your hair will gain volume

Nowadays, the choice of hair care products can be overwhelming. We can choose from hundreds of natural, specialized, or medical shampoos that cater to specific scalp needs. Unfortunately, they are not the cheapest, as a bottle of such shampoo costs CAD 5 to even CAD 30.

If you have oily or flat hair, try using baking soda. Sodium bicarbonate is commonly used in cosmetology. It lightens and deeply cleanses the skin in small concentrations, adding volume to the hair.

How do you use it to wash your hair? It's straightforward. Add a tablespoon of baking soda to your regular shampoo, then thoroughly mix both products. Apply the mixture to wet hair and wash it thoroughly, massaging the scalp. Rinse it after a minute, apply conditioner, and dry your hair. Remember, however, that this method will only work on a healthy scalp. For any dryness, irritation, or allergy, baking soda could only aggravate these conditions.

Say goodbye to dry hair. You need just one ingredient

Hair becomes exceptionally prone to drying out when temperatures exceed 25 degrees Celsius. This is due to intense UV radiation and hot air. How can you deeply nourish it? You don’t need expensive masks or sprays. If you prefer natural care, reach for a product that has saved women's skin and hair for years: honey. Add two teaspoons of melted honey to your shampoo, then thoroughly mix. Use the shampoo throughout summer, and your hair will become soft, smooth, and moisturized.
