Tragic airplane crash in São Paulo leaves 61 dead
An airplane capable of carrying dozens of passengers crashed on Friday in the Brazilian state of São Paulo, according to local media. There were 61 people on board. No one survived.

The local fire department confirmed that the airplane fell in Vinhedo. Brazilian television channel GloboNews showed footage depicting a large area engulfed in flames. Smoke could be seen billowing from the airplane's fuselage.
Other recordings posted on social media show the airplane diving down before hitting the ground.
61 people on board
The Voepass airline's airplane had 61 people on board, including crew members. No one survived.
According to emerging reports, the ATR-72 airplane was flying from Cascavel in the state of Paraná to Guarulhos in the state of São Paulo.
