Sweet simplicity: The Milky Land cake requires just 3 ingredients
Are you craving something sweet but short on time to make a dessert? This is when this recipe comes into play. The Milky Land cake is quick to make and requires just a few ingredients.
Quick cake with cream. Sounds like a joke? Typically, a dessert like this brings to mind baking a sponge cake and then preparing cream, which can take a lot of time. But Milky Land is different. A few ingredients are all you need, and the longest step is chilling it.
Idea for a quick dessert
Milky Land is an instant dessert made with biscuits. You layer them with a sweet cream that perfectly soaks in. You can use store-bought caramel or make a simple mixture from condensed milk. This product is often in the kitchen cabinet because it has a long shelf life. It’s great for Vietnamese coffee and many cakes, especially cheesecake. It's also the base for the Milky Land dessert mixture.
You don’t even have to whip it
Condensed milk is made by evaporating much of the water from cow's milk, resulting in a thick, sweet mixture. Due to the evaporation process, its caloric value increases significantly, but it also concentrates proteins and nutrients like vitamin B12 and calcium. Such milk whips quickly, and if you're short on time, just spread it on the biscuits. To give the dessert a varied taste, add a layer of jam. Blackcurrant is perfect as its tartness contrasts with the milky flavour.
