Surviving soldiers from 7th Motorized Regiment appeal to Putin

A group of surviving soldiers from the 7th Motorized Regiment has appealed to Vladimir Putin. In doing so, they have revealed the brutal reality of the conflict initiated by Russia.

The war in Ukraine continues. In the face of difficult conditions and significant losses on the front, the Russian soldiers fighting near Lyptsi in the Kharkiv region have taken a desperate step. They recorded a video directing an appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The recording shows a group of exhausted men who struggle to hide their emotions. Their words are full of bitterness and disappointment. The soldiers accuse their commanders of deliberately sending them to certain death in the area of the village of Lyptsi near Kharkiv.

Why are we being treated this way? We signed a contract to fight fascism, and now we have become its victims ourselves - the soldiers say.

The soldiers' account paints a picture of the situation on the front. In their company of 110 people, fewer than 25 remain. The rest have been killed, injured, or taken prisoner. The soldiers claim they have never met their direct superiors. They feel abandoned and betrayed by their command. They hope for intervention at the highest level by directing their plea to Putin.
