Today, let's draw some inspiration from the Iberian Peninsula. Spanish-style potatoes come to the rescue when you're out of dinner ideas or looking to prepare something genuinely economical. This is how a delicious meal for pennies comes to life!

Spanish-style potatoes are a very cheap, tasty, and filling dish. Of course, this wouldn't be possible without the onion-garlic sauce, especially for this occasion. The whole meal costs literally pennies. The only "extra" ingredient you'll need is vegetable broth. As I've mentioned before, making this broth in bulk and freezing any excess is worthwhile. You never know when it might come in handy!

  1. Scrub the potatoes and cut them into slices. Pour the flour into a bowl, add salt and pepper, and season the beaten eggs similarly.
  2. Coat the potato slices in the flour, then dip them in the egg. Fry them in the heated olive oil until golden.
  3. Remove the potatoes and set aside. In the same pan, sauté the chopped onion and garlic until fragrant. Add the wine, spices, and cornstarch. Gradually pour in the broth while stirring. Once the sauce thickens, return the fried potatoes to the pan and stew in the onion-garlic mixture for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
