Sabrina Carpenter: The pop star shaping America's voter turnout
Since the adoption of the Constitution in 1789, the United States has been regarded as a model of democracy and civil society. Some of the Founding Fathers' ideals remain, such as the need to engage in the electoral process. Twenty-five-year-old actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter registered over 35,000 new voters during her concerts.

According to CNN, Donald Trump has already secured enough electoral votes to become the president-elect. His success was likely aided by high voter turnout, which exceeded the expectations of local election boards in some areas. Americans lined up in long queues to cast their votes.
One of the heroines of the presidential election was Sabrina Carpenter. The young singer and actress registered 35,814 new voters during this year's concert tour and engaged over 260,000 people through apps. No figure in show business can boast such an achievement.
Carpenter is now called an "influential figure" in the United States, having contributed to registering the largest number of young Americans eligible to vote ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Second on the list of showbiz personalities is Ariana Grande, who registered 15,591 new voters, while the band Green Day registered only 7,900 people.
It should be noted that the singer conducted her campaign together with a non-partisan organization whose sole aim is to increase the number of registered new voters and activate those already registered, for example, by checking the registration status in an app or finding a polling place.
Sabrina Carpenter was born in 1999. She participated in singing and dancing contests as a child, but her first successes came as a young actress. At 11, she got a role in the NBC television series "Law & Order." In 2015, she released her debut album "Eyes Wide Open." Besides her work in show business, she is involved in charity work. She became an ambassador for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, which builds TV and radio studios in children's hospitals. She also supports the Charity Water Foundation, which deals with building water reservoirs and purchasing sanitary equipment for developing countries.
