Ryanair may restrict alcohol after wild flight to Ibiza
It was a restless flight. However, it wasn't due to turbulence or technical issues but rather the passengers' behaviour. Irish singer Róisín Murphy recorded how people behaved on a flight from London's Stansted Airport to Ibiza and posted the video online.

Róisín Murphy flew from Stansted to Ibiza on Friday evening (October 25). The woman wanted to relax by reading a book on the plane. Unfortunately, she was not able to unwind. The Ryanair flight was full of young passengers who started partying in the air.
During the flight, the passengers shouted, drank, sang, and played music. The festivities were in full swing. The well-known Irish singer recorded the entire situation and shared it online, adding a humorous comment to the video.
I'm just trying to educate myself! #ryanair Stansted to #Ibiza ✈️ on a Friday night.. Pretty sure I was the only one trying to read Dostoevsky! - the woman wrote.
Internet users divided on the flight's reception. Will Ryanair ban alcohol?
Commenters are divided on the situation. Some point out that it's a flight towards the "party capital of Europe" and that young people "need to let loose." However, some internet users indicate that such behaviour is dangerous and uncomfortable for other passengers.
Flights to Ibiza always make me uneasy. People behave like they're crazy. It's hard to hear the crew's announcements, and it would be dangerous in case of turbulence. I don't like flying in such an atmosphere - wrote one of the internet users.
Let's add that Ryanair plans to curb such phenomena. The company's head, Michael O'Leary, has announced that the carrier might introduce strict restrictions on consuming alcohol on board the plane.
Already, British airlines have banned bringing alcohol purchased in duty-free zones on board. The ban applies to party destinations such as the aforementioned Ibiza, Malaga, and Tenerife.
