Russian relocatees in Kursk find relocation packages disappointing

Russians are moving en masse from the Kursk region, which Ukraine has taken over. The Russian authorities decided to help them by preparing a so-called relocation package. Videos have surfaced online showing its contents. The recipients do not seem to be pleased.

Let us recall that the Ukrainian armed forces already control 1,500 square kilometres of land in the Kursk region. Although the pace of the expansion has significantly slowed down, Russians still fear that the Ukrainian military will capture the towns where they live.

Due to this, many people are deciding to relocate to Kursk. The local city authorities have prepared a set of food products for the "relocatees." One of the recipients showed the contents of a cardboard box. It's clearly audible that he is not happy with it.

At first glance, the entire "package" looks appealing. The colourful, green box contains various food products. What can Russians who received the box expect? Coffee, tea, or sweets. But it's just a facade.

The problem, however, is that a significant portion of the gifts may already be long expired and come from very old stock. According to videos posted online, these are products that have been sitting in Russian warehouses since the spring.

September 8, 2024, 5:00 PM EDT. City of Kursk. We received the "relocation package." Congratulations on Victory Day. May 9. Thanks for the greetings, of course, but it's already fall - one of the recipients ironically comments.

Mocking comments about the "relocation package" have appeared online. Internet users joke that Russians should check the expiration date of each product, verifying whether "there is old water at the bottom of one of the cans."
