Russian missile strike on Kyiv hits children's hospital; casualties reported
Russian missiles fell on Kyiv on Monday morning. One of the targets of the attack was Kyiv’s children’s hospital. City authorities report casualties, and recordings showing the consequences of the attack are appearing online.

At least five people died as a result of the Russian missile attack on Kyiv on Monday morning, informed Serhiy Popko, head of the military administration of the Ukrainian capital. There are also wounded. In Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of Volodymyr Zelensky, at least 10 people died as a result of the attack.
The Russian army attacked civilian infrastructure, including a children’s medical facility in Kyiv. Missile fragments fell on six districts of the capital, authorities reported.
Videos illustrating the consequences of the attack on the Ukrainian capital also appeared online. The Russians targeted, among other sites, a children’s hospital in Kyiv.

In the shared photos, it can be seen how residents themselves began clearing the area, not waiting for the services. "Reports are emerging that children may be found in the rubble," it reads.
Military statement
The Operational Command of the Armed Forces noted on social media that the long-range aviation of the Russian Federation has again started missile shelling on Ukrainian territory.
The communiqué assured that the Operational Command of the Armed Forces continuously monitors the situation and is ready to respond immediately to threats.
