Russian expert questions the odds of winning a war with NATO
- It would be absolutely futile for us to enter into such an armed confrontation with conventional means, said one of the experts on Vladimir Solovyov's propaganda program in the context of the war with NATO. This is one of the first voices in the Russian public space in a long time to outright state that Russia is unable to win against NATO. The propagandists have their ideas for such a situation.

Many of the information shared by Russian media and government representatives is probably not true. Such reports may be an element of the information war from the Russian Federation.
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, special programs explaining such decisive steps have been broadcast on Russian media. For this reason, the program of Kremlin chief propagandist Vladimir Solovyov has been extended, and he invites several guests to his "show" to confirm the correctness of the Russian authorities' actions.
At a certain point, an opponent of Kremlin policy also regularly appeared on the show. However, this person was shouted down and ridiculed by other guests, including the host himself, without any chance to present their arguments.
Over time, however, the format of the program changed. Viewers were increasingly convinced that Russia "is at war with all of NATO". There was also talk, in line with Vladimir Putin's words, of using nuclear weapons and the overall victorious position of the Russians in a potential conflict with the North Atlantic alliance members.
Even more surprising for internet users was the fact that a few days ago, in one of Solovyov's programs, an expert appeared who spoke with common sense. Asked about the real possibilities of opposing NATO, he replied:
Confronting the NATO alliance with conventional weapons, in view of its superiority in conventional means of warfare, well, from our side, any course of action would be extremely disadvantageous., - said the expert on Vladimir Solovyov's propaganda program.
He then added that the only possibility of engaging in combat with the alliance could only be with the use of nuclear weapons. In other cases, an advantageous outcome for Russia in such a conflict is almost impossible and rather certainly involves a defeat.
