According to an investigation by the Dossier Center, an organization that tracks the activities of Kremlin representatives, Russian President Vladimir Putin has two young sons with his partner, Alina Kabaeva.

As reported by the Center, Putin's first son with Kabaeva, Ivan, was born in 2015. The second son, Vladimir, was born in 2019. The Dossier obtained documents from an individual working in Putin's residence. It is noted that this person frequently sees the children of the Russian president.

Putin's children travel by private jets and yachts connected to him. The Federal Protective Service (FSO) oversees their safety. They do not appear in public places and live in presidential residences.

9,300 CAD per month

According to the investigation, a centre in Valdai was specially created for Ivan and Vladimir. Governesses looked after them, and teachers were recruited through the English Nanny portal.

The Dossier obtained one of the job postings. The teacher for the young Putin was expected to work 60 hours over five days a week in the St. Petersburg area. The duties also included accompanying them on trips. Salary: 9,300 CAD per month. English Nanny emphasizes that it has worked with the family for a long time and has provided them with English and German language teachers.

Since the invasion of Ukraine, teachers from South Africa, considered by Russian authorities as a "friendly country," have been working with Putin's children to teach them English.

Educators who agree to cooperate cannot leave the residence and must "live in isolation."

Hired as translators in a hospital

Putin's children's teachers are purportedly receiving their salaries through a clinic in St. Petersburg, where injured fighters from the Wagner group, including those from missions in Ukraine, are treated.

According to the Dossier, since 2020, at least 10 foreign teachers have signed contracts with the clinic. They provide translation services for the facility, though their earnings are considerably higher. Salaries range from 5,700 CAD to 21,000 CAD per month.

One of the teachers, a 32-year-old Bosnian who teaches German, has earned over 430,000 CAD over the past 4 years. She also reportedly received a large loan.

The teaching staff has no contact with the children's parents. They receive instructions from the family's assistants. Kabaeva's cousin, Oksana Fedina, is supposed to pose as Ivan and Vladimir's mother in front of the nannies.

According to the Dossier, Ivan plays hockey, sometimes with his father. He is also said to be involved in gymnastics competitions, but no specific locations have been revealed.

Putin has never admitted to having sons

Previously, the Swiss "Sonntags Zeitung" reported that Putin and Kabaeva have two sons. One was reportedly born in Switzerland, and the other was born in Moscow but under the care of a Swiss doctor.

Putin has never publicly admitted to having sons, although he has indicated that his family has children. He once mentioned that the youngest members of his family are learning Chinese.

In 2013, Putin divorced his wife but has never acknowledged an affair with Alina Kabaeva. In 2022, the United Kingdom and the United States imposed sanctions on Putin's partner.
