  • pumpkin purée (200 grams),

  • egg (1 piece),
  • walnuts (a handful, optional).

Method:

  1. Unroll the puff pastry and cut it into long strips. Mix the pumpkin purée with brown sugar, cinnamon, and gingerbread spice.
  2. Spread a thin layer of pumpkin filling on the pastry strips. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts, and twist the strips into spiral shapes.
  3. Place the twists on a baking tray lined with baking paper, and brush the tops with beaten eggs.
