A significant global outage of PlayStation Network is underway. Thousands of users are reporting issues with services such as PlayStation Store, PlayStation Video, and even online gaming.

According to reports from the Downdetector service, problems with the platform started during the night of February 7 to February 8. Several hours later - just after 10:00 AM Eastern Time - I'm still unable to log into my PSN account, and the number of reports is increasing.

At 8:46 PM Eastern Time, Sony mentioned "possible problems for some users" via the X service. In the following 13 hours, no additional message was posted.

The PlayStation Network outage has disconnected at least some console users from online services, including those using the PS5, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and PS Portal. Problems are also occurring on the website and mobile apps. Although you can browse the PlayStation Store's offerings, attempting to add a game to the cart or log in results in an error message.

At the time of publication, the number of reports from the US exceeds 5,900, from Spain over 800, from France over 3,700, and from Poland more than 1,400.
