Overnight, a fire broke out in the Perm region of Russia at an oil storage facility. As reported by "Ukrainska Pravda," the fire engulfed fuel tanks stored there.
The situation was reported on social media by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.
"A private oil storage facility covering 10,000 square metres in the industrial zone of the village of Osentsy is on fire. The flames have engulfed fuel containers," the service's statement reads.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
This is another fire in Russia in recent days. On Thursday, a fire broke out at a maximum-security penal colony in Yekaterinburg. According to Russian media, approximately 1,500 inmates are housed at the facility.
The Federal Penitentiary Service reports that no one was killed. Channel Shot claims the fire occurred "immediately after joint fire-tactical exercises of the Federal Penitentiary Service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations."
