North Korean troops may bolster Russian forces in Ukraine
"Soldiers from North Korea might become involved in the war in Ukraine, and the United States does not plan to impose additional restrictions on the use of American weapons against them," Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh stated on Monday.

- If we see DPRK troops joining the front line, they will become a party to the war (...). So that is a decision North Korea must make. They are sending their soldiers to a conflict where we see Russian casualties and losses reaching over 500,000 soldiers at this point - said Singh during Monday's press briefing.
She was responding to a question about whether the USA would implement additional restrictions on the use of American weapons on Russian territory.
At the press conference, a representative of the United States Department of Defense also confirmed that there are already approximately 10,000 of Kim's soldiers in Russia, who may join the fight in a few weeks.
Kim Jong Un's troops are moving toward Ukraine
Some Korean soldiers are already making their way westward, toward Ukraine. The US administration assesses that this contingent is likely to reinforce Russian forces in the Kursk region.
It is anticipated that the number of soldiers sent by North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un could increase "as Vladimir Putin's desperation grows". State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller noted that the USA is consulting with Ukraine and allies regarding the response to North Korea's move but will not make public statements about these discussions.
