The former governor of South Carolina unequivocally expressed her support for Israel during a trip to the country's northern border with Lebanon, where she was accompanied by, among others, Danny Danon, former Israeli ambassador to the UN.

In a later statement to the media, Haley did not apologize but criticized Joe Biden for temporarily halting arms to discourage an Israeli attack on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Haley also attacked the International Criminal Court (ICC), which is calling for the arrest of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"What America needs to understand is if Israel’s fighting our enemies, how can we not help them?" Haley said.

Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip

Meanwhile, the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip continues in the south. As a result of an Israeli airstrike on a refugee camp west of the city of Rafah in the town of Al-Mawasi, which the Israeli army designated as a humanitarian zone, 21 people were killed.

A spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces announced that a special investigation will be conducted regarding Tuesday's airstrike. However, the army later issued a statement saying, "contrary to information from earlier today, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) did not attack the humanitarian zone in Al-Mawasi."

It is estimated that Israeli actions have so far killed over 36,000 Palestinians, including about 15,000 children.
