Motorola Solutions has unveiled a new solution comprising DIMETRA Connect and the TETRA MXP660 radio. These cutting-edge technologies facilitate effortless network transition, an essential feature in challenging environments such as densely populated areas or underground structures. Mogens Sandberg Brix from Greater Copenhagen highlighted the significance of seamlessly transitioning from radio to broadband networks as vital to the operational efficiency of their services.
The DIMETRA Connect initiative allows for automatic switching between terrestrial TETRA radio communication and broadband, markedly enhancing the operational effectiveness of emergency response teams. An emergency service handset must be both robust and versatile. The innovative MXP660 radio is equipped with LTE technology and AI-driven noise cancellation, providing crystal-clear communication and improved network reach.
Denmark adopts new technologies
The Danish Sikkerhedsnet (SINE) network is set to be among the first adopters of DIMETRA Connect. Motorola Solutions backs numerous radio networks worldwide, including Austria's TETRON Digitalfunk and Norway's Nødnett.
