Madonna celebrates 66th birthday with bold photos in Portofino

On the occasion of another birthday, the eternally young Madonna, along with her partner, children, and a group of friends, went to the villa of Stefano Dolce and Domenico Gabbana in Portofino. Accompanying them was a photographer who also captured the birthday girl in bold photos.

Madonna's career, which has already lasted almost half a century (!), was built not only on catchy songs but, above all, on breaking taboos and shocking the public with scandals. While her position as the queen of pop was once undisputed, today, the singer's repetitive music and Instagram antics evoke more pity than admiration.

Currently, Madonna is engrossed in celebrating her 66th birthday, which fell on August 16th. As she does every year, the singer decreed that she would celebrate her birthday for a whole week, so she magnanimously took her new lover, a bunch of kids, and a group of friends to Portofino aboard a private jet.

The birthday girl naturally shared the celebration on social media. A series of carefully selected photos appeared on her Instagram profile—looking at them, it's hard to believe that the artist is already pushing seventy.

The music queen showed several shots, including photos of where she feasted with her nearest and dearest. There were also shots of her children and her 28-year-old lover, Jamaican footballer Akeem Morris.

In the photos captured by photographer Ricardo Gomes, we see the star dressed in iconic outfits from the famous Italian brand, posing for the camera. Thanks to filters and graphic edits, the famous lover of plastic surgery looks only slightly older than her daughter.
