Hundreds of people bid farewell on Friday to Jewhenya Bazylevich and her three daughters: 21-year-old Jaryna, 18-year-old Daryna, and 7-year-old Emilia, who were killed as a result of a Russian attack on Lviv. The funeral was also attended by the husband and father, Jaroslav, who was the only one to survive the massacre.

Lviv said goodbye to Jewhenia, Jaryna, Daryna, and Emilia. Hundreds of people attended the funeral service. The four-member family died as a result of a Russian attack that took place on Wednesday. Only Jaroslav survived - a husband and father who returned to the apartment for water. During this time, his entire family waited in the stairwell.

After the funeral ceremony, the mourning procession went to Market Square for the farewell ceremony. Near the town hall, a Lviv trumpeter played a melody in honour of the deceased.

Russian missile kills entire family

Friends and acquaintances of the Bazylewicz family speak of the deceased as patriots and the pride of the nation. The youngest daughter of the Bazylewichs, Emilia, was 7 years old and attended second grade. 18-year-old Daryna was a second-year cultural studies student in the humanities department. 21-year-old Jaryna was a manager in the office "Lviv—European Youth Capital 2025."

Jewhenia and her three daughters were buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery. The ceremony was attended by Jarosław, the husband and father. Relatives guided the injured man. It was difficult for him to hold back tears after the loss of his entire family.

Also, today in Lviv, there was a farewell for Iryna Demidova and Jurii Arabskyi, who died as a result of shelling. Oleksandr Pohoretsky will be buried on Saturday, September 7th.

"Black Day" for Lviv Region

On the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, there was a Russian strike on Lviv. The attack was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, in a communication on Telegram. Earlier, Kozytskyi spoke of a "black day" for the Lviv region.

As a result of the Russian attack on Lviv, seven people died, including three children, and 53 were injured.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Lviv region was attacked by two groups of cruise missiles. A MiG-31K also took off from the Savasleyka airbase in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia.
