In many situations, real life writes the best movie scripts. An example is the story of Susanne and Benny Anguiano and their Siamese cat Rayne Beau, who was named in honour of the rainbow.

They lost their cat and lost hope of ever seeing him again

The couple was completely devastated when, during a visit to Yellowstone National Park, they lost their beloved pet. The frightened cat ran deep into the forest and could not be coaxed out.

Because Susanne and Benny were hundreds of kilometres away from their home in California, they lost hope of ever seeing their pet again after returning. Additionally, they felt that they had simply left him to fend for himself.

He travelled from Wyoming to California. The incredible story of the Siamese cat

The couple decided to heal their wound by adopting another cat. But exactly 61 days later, a voice on the phone informed them that Rayne Beau had been found in Roseville, California. He was incredibly exhausted because he had travelled about 1,450 kilometres.

The cat first went to a local animal protection organization and then to the owners, who were identified and located thanks to a microchip.
