Lavrov lashes out at west, warns of repercussions from Kremlin

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov once again attacked the West. "Recent events on the international stage have unveiled the true face of the West, which aspires to impose its order on the world," said a collaborator of Vladimir Putin.

Many of the information provided by Russian media or government officials are elements of propaganda. Such reports are part of the information war conducted by the Russian Federation.

Sergey Lavrov spoke during a meeting of BRICS foreign ministers in Nizhny Novgorod. The Russian Foreign Minister stated that the West has long tried to impose "beneficial norms and mechanisms of interaction" on other countries.

"Recent international events have unmasked those who so far have almost exclusively claimed the right to define so-called universal values, promoted as a rules-based order," declared the Kremlin propagandist.

He also directly attacked the United States. "The USA and its allies do not give up on attempts to maintain their waning dominance and slow down the emerging objective processes of multipolarity," Lavrov argued.

"They use economic instruments as weapons, trying through sanctions pressure and financial blackmail to influence the choice of development models and trade partners by sovereign states," he added, repeating the lies of the Russian regime.

During a press conference in St. Petersburg, an American journalist asked Putin when the war in Ukraine might end. He set a condition that would mean an immediate defeat for Ukraine. He also threatened Western countries after delivering weapons to Ukraine.

Putin stated that, since Ukraine is using Western weapons to attack Russian territory, the Kremlin may take "asymmetrical" actions and supply similar weapons to countries that will attack Western states.

"Using Western weapons to attack Russian territories requires the participation of military personnel from specific countries in operating the equipment, controlling it, and designating targets, in which case Russia may take such retaliatory steps as supplying similar types of weapons to other parties to attack selected countries," assessed the dictator.
