Many of the reports provided by Russian media or government representatives are elements of propaganda. Such reports are part of the information warfare conducted by the Russian Federation.

On Monday, Dmitry Peskov accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of being unwilling to end Ukraine's defensive war against Russia.

Peskov stated that "It is very important that someone forces Zelensky himself to change his position."

Referring to Friday's quarrel between Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump, the Kremlin spokesperson declared that it was an "unprecedented event". According to him, it highlights the difficulties in reaching an agreement over Ukraine.

Dmitry Peskov further stated that the "collective West" is beginning to "split into parts." In his opinion, this division may affect the international situation.

White House quarrel: Zelenskyy expelled

On Friday, a meeting took place at the White House with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Vice President J.D. Vance. The leaders were supposed to sign an agreement on Ukrainian minerals.

During the talks, a dispute arose. Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance repeatedly demanded that Zelenskyy thank them for their assistance. They also criticized his negotiation style, accusing him of having no "cards." The Ukrainian president, in turn, accused them of not understanding his country's position. Ultimately, the agreement was not signed, and Zelenskyy, along with the Ukrainian delegation, were asked to leave the White House.

Afterwards, Trump released a statement criticizing the approach of the Ukrainian president.

"I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace," wrote the American president on the Truth Social platform.
