Drama during the European Championships. In Germany, an unknown man invaded the property of a family watching the Euro 2024 match and stabbed three people. It turns out the perpetrator had murdered another person moments earlier. The attacker also confronted police officers, who used firearms and shot the perpetrator.

The police were called to a single-family house on Genossenschaftsweg Street in Wolmirstedt (Saxony-Anhalt) on Friday evening around 3:30 PM ET. The family had guests to watch the European Championships together. Shortly after the match began, an unknown man with a knife appeared in the yard and suddenly stabbed three people.

According to the police, the man was "of southern type." The local newspaper "Magdeburger Volksstimme" reported that he had previously threatened people with a knife in a neighbouring garden. The residents also called the police.

Police shot the attacker

The attacker was running through the garden plots with a weapon in hand. Just a few minutes before attacking the family, the man had attacked and killed another person with a knife in an apartment. After leaving the building, he probably entered the property on Genossenschaftsweg and randomly stabbed the fans.

A few minutes later, the police arrived at the scene. The killer approached them and then attacked the officers. The police used firearms against the attacker. The officers informed the newspaper "Bild" that "the perpetrator died in the hospital."
