Last week, there was a lot of noise about Justin Timberlake, who was arrested in New York for driving under the influence. During his questioning at the police station, the musician allegedly insisted that he drank "only one martini" that unfortunate night.

The behind-the-scenes details of his arrest have also surfaced. The police officer who arrested the musician did not recognize Justin, so he didn't know he was dealing with a star. Interestingly, Justin supposedly asked the officer for leniency, as he said that the scandal with the arrest would cast a shadow on his career and ongoing tour.

The musician has already left custody and dived back into concerting. Justin's court hearing is said to take place on July 26 at 1:00 PM Eastern Time, the same day the star is set to perform in Poland. However, the organizer told Pudelek that the show is not at risk.

Justin Timberlake had not commented on the scandal involving him until now. However, he decided to break the silence by playing a concert in Chicago on Friday. Standing on stage, Justin poignantly mentioned:

It's been a tough week - he began.

He then addressed the fans.

I know sometimes I'm hard to love but you keep on loving me and I love you right back - he added.

Were these the words you expected?
