Everybody can have a bad day, including celebrities known for their occasional whims. Recently, a journalist learned this firsthand when she encountered Jennifer Lopez. At 54 years old, Lopez, a pop culture icon, has seen her popularity dip and scrutiny increase.

Just a few days ago, Jennifer Lopez once again stirred controversy online with her behavior, which many of her fans considered dismissive. The incident occurred on the first Monday of May during the MET Gala—also dubbed the "fashion Oscars"—at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This year, Lopez served as one of the hosts for the event.

Netizens outraged by Jennifer Lopez's behavior

The artist made sure she chose an ensemble that would stand out. Lopez's' fashion choice caught the eye of journalists covering the arrivals on the iconic museum steps. Anika Reed, a reporter for "USA Today," uploaded a TikTok video in which Lopez briefly answers her question: "Who are you wearing tonight?".

This short, straightforward answer quickly became the subject of ridicule on TikTok. Netizens accuse the American singer of being dismissive toward the journalist documenting the event. The comments on Anika's video were ablaze with criticism.

She exudes such ~warmth~; "Schiaparelli 😒"; schiaparelli if you know you know 😤; The up & down stare is crazyyyy; - lambasted the netizens.
