Hugh Jackman steps out with Sutton Foster after split
Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster were spotted during a romantic date at In-N-Out, no longer hiding their relationship as a couple.
It is now clear that Hugh Jackman's marriage to Deborra-Lee Furness has come to an end. They were together for 27 years and were often seen as one of the few enduring couples in show business, demonstrating that long-lasting, happy relationships were possible. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. They adopted two children together: a son, Oscar Maximilian (24 years old), and a daughter, Ava Eliot (19 years old). Throughout the years, they supported each other's careers and participated in various charitable activities. Ultimately, they decided to divorce. Today, Hugh Jackman doesn't hide that he is deeply in love with someone else.
Hugh Jackman's date with his new partner
Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster were seen being affectionate during a dinner at In-N-Out in San Fernando. Photos published by PageSix and TMZ show the couple sharing a kiss in front of the restaurant. The actors, known from "The Music Man," were seen laughing and kissing in a parked Range Rover.
After getting out of the car, Jackman opened the door for Foster and then embraced her. Foster responded by placing her hands on his face before the couple entered the restaurant.
Their romance became public in October 2024, when Foster filed for divorce from Ted Griffin, the screenwriter of "Ocean’s Eleven." Jackman, on the other hand, announced a separation from Deborra-Lee Furness in September 2023, after 27 years of marriage.
"We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives," they wrote in a joint statement in 2023.
Although they remained friends, rumours arose that the actor was unfaithful. Media worldwide began to speculate about the possible reasons for their breakup. Sixty-eight-year-old Deborra-Lee Furness liked a video by gossip blogger Tasha Lustig on Instagram on October 26, which suggested that Jackman plans to gently reveal his new relationship with Foster. Furness's friend, Amanda de Cadenet, commented on the post, saying, "My beloved friend Deb is about to have her glow up any moment fyi!"
Sources claim that Jackman and Foster's relationship was a "common knowledge" in Broadway circles, even though they kept it from the public. "They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together," a "PageSix" informant said.
