The iconic house from the movie "Home Alone" has been put up for sale, reports tmz.com. The property in Winnetka, near Chicago, Illinois, has been priced at CAD 7 million.

Millions of people worldwide watched this 1990 film. Eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) was left home alone and faced two burglars (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern) who wanted to rob the villa during the family's Christmas vacation abroad.

The thieves did not expect, however, to encounter a resourceful boy and his cleverly set traps.

The real property that "played" the McCallisters' house has just been put up for sale. The house was renovated in 2018 and expanded. The current owners have lived in it for the past 12 years, and they purchased the iconic house for CAD 2.15 million.

The house has five bedrooms and six bathrooms, a cinema, and a gym. A few years ago, renting a home for one night through Airbnb was possible.
