And now, the season begins for another vegetable that can be added to the list. What's more, there's no cutting involved.

As you probably guessed, it's about green beans. The season for them is already in full swing. Both the green and yellow varieties are suitable for making fries.

Plenty of benefits

Green beans are a desired addition to summer salads, soups, and casseroles. It's worth constantly expanding the list of dishes with green beans as the main ingredient. Their season is short, and it's worth trying in different versions. Another essential reason is protein. Legumes contain a lot of folic acid and vitamins. Another benefit? Green beans are low in calories and fibre, which aids in weight loss.

So crunchy

Green bean fries are somewhat of a joke. You don't need to deep-fry them. To make them crunchier, coat them in panko and Asian breadcrumbs. Then, bake them in the oven. Fries are usually served with ketchup. But if we're already breaking the rules, let's break the ones concerning condiments, too. You can prepare a simple tomato salsa to go with green bean fries. It will undoubtedly enhance their delicate taste. Together, they make a great snack, even during a game.
