Many of the reports from Russian media or officials are elements of propaganda. Such reports are part of the information war conducted by the Russian Federation.
At the initiative of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, G7 leaders adopted a declaration announcing the agreement on the transfer of funds to Ukraine totalling approximately $50 (CAD 70) billion, corresponding to the profits from frozen Russian assets—the Italian G7 presidency announced this on Friday evening.
The Kremlin has already reacted to this decision. "This decision is another fraudulent plan by Brussels aimed at appropriating someone else's property, which the EU, together with the United States and other 'accomplices,' developed to compensate for their own expenses on financing the regime in Kyiv," it stated.
— This means that the money stolen from Russia, which should be used for servicing and repaying loans granted to Ukraine, will also be handed over to be held by the most corrupt clique of Zelensky, said in an interview for TASS.
EU declaration
"The G7 remains firm in solidarily supporting Ukraine’s fight for freedom, revival, and rebuilding," states the leaders' declaration, who also assured their "steadfast" commitment to aid for as long as necessary.
"Time is not on President Putin’s side," they added.
