The District Court in Omsk is handling the case of Sergey Kozlov, a former member of the Wagner Group, who brutally murdered his partner. In October of last year, the man beat the pregnant 18-year-old, jumping on her while shouting that she was not worthy to have his child. Unfortunately, the woman could not be saved.

According to the portal "The Insider," the District Court in Omsk in central Russia is handling the case of Sergey Kozlov, a 36-year-old former Wagner member who horrendously murdered his 18-year-old partner. The woman was pregnant.

The incident occurred in October of last year. According to current findings, Kozlov was at a party with his partner, who is twice his junior. At some point, a fight broke out between them. The man claimed that the 18-year-old had destroyed his speaker.

Kozlov was so enraged that he attacked his concubine. He beat her and jumped on her stomach even though the 18-year-old was pregnant with him. He shouted that she was not worthy of being the mother of his child. He then crushed her throat with his boot by standing on her neck.

The victim was found to have a traumatic brain injury, a broken nose, a brain contusion, a ruptured liver, and blunt abdominal trauma. The description of all 138 injuries took up several pages, reports the Russian Kommersant.

Russia. Former Wagner member murdered 18-year-old. Verdict soon

This is not the first time Kozlov has had serious legal problems. Before he joined the Wagner Group, he was repeatedly punished for theft, grievous bodily harm, and robbery. He was recruited, like other such riffraff, in prison.

In 2023, Sergey Kozlov received a medal for bravery. Of course, the honour was bestowed upon him for participating in the Ukraine war. In the summer of last year, the 36-year-old returned to Omsk. A few months later, he committed this shocking crime. According to Russian media, the man will face the court sentence on September 9 at 2 PM Eastern Time.

This is another shocking story that describes how Putin's demoralized soldiers behave when they return from the front lines back to the country. Despite having such crimes on their conscience, they are honoured as heroes.
