The authorities of the Palace of Versailles reported a fire in the suburbs of Paris on Tuesday. The fire was quickly brought under control, the palace spokesperson explained. There are no reports of injuries.
Meanwhile, videos have emerged online showing smoke rising above the facility.

According to the French authorities, the fire broke out during the renovation work. Visitors were evacuated during the incident but were later allowed to return to the building.
Palace authorities confirmed that no one was injured and no collections were damaged. However, measures will be taken to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the fire.
