Finnish minister sees optimism in Western support for Ukraine

Finnish politician optimistic about resolving the war
Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen sees a chance to resolve the war in this decision. She believes that all countries involved in helping Ukraine should agree to use the provided military equipment offensively.
According to the Finnish minister, this could mean that in the long run, "Russia will ultimately not win the war against Ukraine."
We have a quite optimistic outlook that in the long run, Russia will not be able to win this war. The Russians will eventually understand this, but it takes time. However, we are now in the right place - explained Valtonen after the NATO foreign ministers' meeting.
The politician emphasized that "Finland has been open to helping Ukraine since the beginning of the war and has not explicitly banned the full use of the provided military equipment."
