Christmas trees with tuna spread - A holiday snack idea
Small, green cheese trees will catch the guests' attention and introduce a holiday atmosphere, even when snow is not visible outside the window.
You just need to combine all the ingredients and form small cones. Dill and parsley's green colour, alongside red cranberries, creates a festive composition, and the combination of cream cheese, tuna, pickles, and herbs provides a refreshing and distinct flavour.
Ingredients:
- 240 grams cream cheese
- 100 grams canned tuna in oil
- 100 grams chopped pickles
- Half of a red onion
- 80 millilitres sunflower seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 250 millilitres chopped fresh dill
- 250 millilitres chopped fresh parsley
- 20 round crackers (approx. 2.5 cm in diameter)
- 20 pieces of dried cranberries
Preparation method:
Step 1. Transfer the cream cheese to a bowl. Add finely chopped pickles and red onion, as well as the drained tuna. Add sunflower seeds, season with salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly.
Step 2. Place chopped fresh dill in one bowl and parsley in another. Take a portion of the mixture and roll it in the dill. Once it coats the spread, shape it into a cone (like a Christmas tree) and coat it further in the parsley.
Step 3. Place the trees on crackers and decorate with cranberries. They will be a hit at holiday tables and December parties. Enjoy!
