Duchess Kate and Prince William participated in Holocaust Memorial Day events in London. They met with survivors, and their presence was regarded as a gesture of support and remembrance for the victims. The Prince of Wales emphasized the courage of the survivors who share their experiences, assuring that their stories will never be forgotten.

We remember the survivors who live with the scars, both mental and physical. Their bravery, in sharing with us the most harrowing moments of their lives, is extremely powerful and ensures that we never forget. I assure them we never will - he said.

Duchess Kate hid a secret by wearing a faux pearl necklace

During the event, Duchess Kate drew attention with her outfit. She chose a dark graphite coat, a black blouse, and elegant trousers. However, it was the faux pearl necklace that drew special attention. According to the "Daily Mail," the jewellery was from the Susan Caplan brand, which has Jewish origins.

The Duchess wanted to support a company run by a person of Jewish origin in this way. The necklace is worth approximately £275 (CAD 490) and was created in the style of the 1980s. It is currently not available for sale, but the brand announces its return. Duchess Kate's gesture was appreciated by Susan Caplan, who thanked her on Instagram.

Today marks 80 years since the Holocaust, and as a Jewish owned brand we are honoured that the Princess of Wales chose to wear our necklace for today’s memorial to commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day - we read.
