During a conference with journalists, Kadyrov said that no one died "on the Chechen side" in the attack.

Kadyrov changes his mind: There were casualties in the attack

- There are casualties, but they are among the Ukrainian prisoners. There are up to 10 Ukrainian prisoners held at each strategic facility in the republic, including on the university grounds. Kyiv, trying to harm us, lost its soldiers today, mumbled Kadyrov, who presented no evidence for these claims.

It is worth noting that from the beginning, Ukrainian and Russian media reported that no one was killed in the attack. Kadyrov himself downplayed the strike and initially claimed that the drone hit "the roof of an empty building" on the university grounds.

Tuesday's drone attack on Chechnya was the first on a full scale since the beginning of the war.

Kadyrov's soldiers fled from the Ukrainians

The terrorist Kadyrov claims that the attack on the university was conducted because it became "a training ground for highly effective fighters who use their skills on the most challenging front lines effectively."

- They have contributed to the takeover of hundreds of important strategic locations, objects, and defence lines, said Kadyrov, forgetting that it was his soldiers who fled from the Kursk region during Kyiv's assault.

Tuesday's drone attack on Chechnya was the first on a full scale since the beginning of the war.

In response, Kadyrov demanded that Chechen fighters on the Ukrainian front not take Ukrainian soldiers prisoner. - They bit us, we will destroy them - he emphasized. He threatened the Ukrainian forces with "retaliation they couldn't even dream of".

The terrorist assured that he would hold "all those responsible" for the attack accountable. - Kadyrov emphasized that we will strive to ensure that such situations do not reoccur.

Russian Special University named after Putin

The Russian Special University, named after Putin, is a private educational institution focused on training special units and volunteers to go to war against Ukraine. It was founded in 2013 at Kadyrov's request and named after Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 20, 2024. At the end of April, the 16-year-old son of the Chechen leader, Adam Kadyrov, was appointed as the institution's "curator."
