Are you looking for a healthy and tasty fish idea for dinner? I have a proposal that will surely surprise you! Forget about salmon or mackerel and go for the lesser-known but equally delicious and nutritious brama fish.

Nutritionists unanimously agree that fish are a real treasure trove of health. Although they often grace our tables, we usually stick to the tried-and-true and reach for the most popular species. Maybe it's time to set aside mackerel or salmon and try something new. Brama fish is an excellent alternative that can positively affect your heart and brain health.

Why should you include brama fish in your diet? Here are a few reasons

1. Rich in omega-3 fatty acids

Brama fish is a real treasure trove of omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for the proper functioning of the body. These acids support cardiovascular function, lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and have anti-inflammatory effects. Additionally, omega-3 fatty acids positively affect the brain, improving memory and concentration and reducing the risk of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s.

2. Low in calories and fat

If you are mindful of your figure, brama fish will be your ally. It contains little fat and calories, making it ideal for those on a diet. Additionally, brama fish is a rich source of protein, which provides a long-lasting feeling of fullness.

3. Delicate taste and ease of preparation

The meat of brama fish is delicate and white, with a slightly sweet taste. It is perfect for various dishes – you can bake, fry, stew, or grill it. Brama fish is easy to handle – it does not require complicated preparations and cooks quickly.

4. Available at an affordable price

Contrary to appearances, brama fish is not expensive. It can be easily found in larger fish markets and some grocery stores. The price of brama fish is comparable to other popular fish species, such as cod or pollock.
