Many detergents facilitate cleaning work in our homes. However, we must exercise caution when using various products. Many of them should not be combined, as this can lead to disastrous results.

Store-bought detergents can help us eliminate stubborn dirt in the kitchen or bathroom. However, when cleaning with "chemicals," it is essential to remember not to mix certain products. Otherwise, we can harm our health. What exactly are we talking about?

Better not to tempt fate: Do not combine these products

Certain substances can combine to cause allergic reactions, burns, and even poisoning. Therefore, before we start cleaning, it is worthwhile to familiarize ourselves with the following "cheat sheet" to avoid unnecessary problems.

First of all, never mix alcohol and bleach. This will form a compound known as chloroform, which negatively affects the nervous and respiratory systems and causes skin and eye damage.

You should also consider vinegar, which often helps us clean. However, the product should not be combined with bleach and toilet cleaners. Why? Chlorine, present in these detergents, will start to release when it reacts with vinegar, which is dangerous for our respiratory system.

It is also worth noting that if you first wash dishes with detergent and then immediately use vinegar to shine them, you are making a mistake again. In such a situation, chlorine can easily start entering the air, which can cause irritation.

It foams, but it's not a good sign

There are many "magical" ways on the internet to get rid of dirt using vinegar and baking soda. However, this is not a good combination - the paste formed by mixing these ingredients will foam, but it will not help remove dirt. Instead, carbon dioxide, water, and sodium acetate will be produced. The foaming substance has no cleaning properties.
