Dakota Johnson gained international recognition thanks to her leading role in the film adaptations of E.L. James' bestselling novels "Fifty Shades of Grey." She inherited her acting talent from her parents - she is the daughter of Don Johnson, known for his role in the crime series "Miami Vice," and Melanie Griffith, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the thriller "Nobody's Fool."

Due to the premiere of her latest film, Johnson appeared on the talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live." During the conversation, an unexpected situation occurred involving her dress.

Wardrobe "malfunction" on live show

The 34-year-old appeared on the show to talk about the production "Daddio," in which she stars alongside Sean Penn. After host Jimmy Kimmel showed viewers a clip from the movie, the audience observed a peculiar situation.

The actress began nervously adjusting the decorative strap of her dress, which - as it turned out - had simply snapped, something the host noted. - Part of your dress just came undone. Are you okay? - Kimmel asked.

- My dress just fell off - Johnson responded with a laugh.

- Well, I'll hold it - she added and, holding her outfit with her hands, continued the conversation.

Not the first mishap of this kind

As "People" magazine reminds us, this is not the first wardrobe mishap for Johnson on television. In 2022, during an appearance on James Corden's show, the actress had difficulty sitting down in a tight red mini-dress.

When the host asked if she needed to borrow his jacket, she joked that everything was fine. - It's nothing that no one has seen before - she added, referring to the intimate scenes from the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film series.
