Sybiha shared this information after discussions with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken that took place in Brussels.
The head of US diplomacy assured that in the upcoming weeks, the outgoing administration of President Joe Biden intends to continue its efforts over the past four years, specifically strengthening the Alliance and supporting Ukraine to effectively defend itself against Russia.
We discussed this in detail and specifically with my (American) counterpart. (We talked) about all (types) of weapons, the deliveries of which fall under the president's (USA) authority," Sybiha stated.
Ukraine to receive significant support from the USA
According to the minister, Washington's aid will include payments for manufacturing arms. "This is very important. We received such assurances during the meeting of our delegations and during my meeting with Secretary of State Blinken," he mentioned.
We also discussed the issue of (long-range missile) attacks on military targets in Russia, as well as Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration. Here too, we are cautiously optimistic. A very important meeting," emphasized the head of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Sybiha noted that the authorities in Kyiv now have a "clear picture (of the situation), clear timeline, and clarity on the scale (of deliveries) that will be provided to Ukraine by the end of the year from the United States. "This helps Ukraine in strategically planning operations on the battlefield. And it's with such (information) that I return to Kyiv," the minister reported.
