American influencer ‘Liver King’ detained in Poland with ammunition

Controversial American influencer Brian Johnson, known as "Liver King," was detained on August 29 at Krakow Airport in Balice. The 46-year-old attempted to fly to Houston, United States, by private jet after a two-week stay in Poland. According to tvp.info, customs officers found ammunition in the celebrity's baggage.
Balice Airport spokeswoman Natalia Vince stated: "I confirm that on Thursday, officers from the Airport Security Service in Balice detected 40 bullets in the hand luggage of an American citizen. The case was handed over to the Border Guard, who initiated appropriate procedures.." Liver King's wife, Barbara, has Polish roots, hence the couple's vacation visit to Poland.
Liver King arrived at Krakow Airport with ammunition
Influencer Brian Johnson, known as Liver King, gained popularity during the pandemic in 2021. He promoted a "barbarian lifestyle," allegedly subsisting solely on meat. In 2023, his credibility was severely damaged after he was exposed for lying about using steroids. His very muscular physique was not solely the result of a diet with a massive amount of animal protein.
Liver King committed a crime in Poland
The Carpathian Border Guard Unit informed: "The American was charged under Art. 263 §2 of the Penal Code (anyone who possesses firearms or ammunition without the required permit is subject to a penalty of imprisonment from 6 months to 8 years). He admitted to the alleged act and refused to explain the committed crime."
After being brought to the prosecutor's office, the influencer declared his willingness to undergo punishment voluntarily. He received a fine equivalent to 2,900 CAD and committed to covering the costs associated with the proceedings. According to tvp.info, U.S. consular services were involved in the case. On August 31, Brian Johnson flew back to the United States.
