  1. Preparing the ingredients: Wash and chop the cabbage, and cut the smoked plums into smaller pieces. Peel and finely dice the onion. Peel and chop the garlic, and grate the peeled carrot on a large-hole grater.
  2. Frying: Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot. Add the onion and fry until it becomes soft and slightly golden. Add the garlic and fry for another minute.
