In this article, we will share this clever method with you, making your daily chores easier. Check out what you need to do to forget about wet dishes!

Water in the dishwasher - a troublesome problem for many households

When you take dishes out of the dishwasher, you risk splashing water on your clothes, floor, cabinets, or countertops. This might not seem like a big problem because it’s just clean water, but you don’t use a dishwasher to create more work for yourself. To deal with the water remaining on the dishes, try emptying the dishwasher's bottom drawer. However, there’s an even better trick that will solve this issue.

Water settling on dishes in the dishwasher. How to solve it?

You don’t need to look for compromise solutions for the problem of water settling in the dishwasher. There is a method that can be tried in almost every dishwasher. What needs to be done? First, check if there are additional wheels on the sides of the top drawer of your dishwasher. These are easy to locate as they are not connected to any guide rail.

If your dishwasher has additional wheels, making it possible to adjust the height of the top drawer, empty the entire appliance. Push the top drawer all the way in and gently lift it up from the front. At this point, the front wheel should be released. Then (holding the drawer steadily), pull it out further until the back wheel reaches the end of the guide rail. Again, lift the drawer from the front and release it.

This is almost half the success. After releasing the first two wheels from the rail, start pushing the top drawer back in– placing the top wheel (the one you noticed earlier) on the guide rail. Push the drawer until the second wheel also fits onto the guide rail.

The task can essentially be considered complete. Check if the drawer has been properly placed on the guide rail. Move it side to side, up and down, to ensure it's stable. If the construction is stable, you can place the dishes back in the drawer and enjoy no water settling after washing.
