A drone attack damages key infrastructure at Russian military base

As a result of a drone attack on a military airport in Millerovo, located in the Rostov region of western Russia, a hangar and a fuel depot were damaged, according to satellite photos published on Sunday by the Ukrinform agency.

The attack on the military airport in the Rostov region, which borders Ukraine, occurred on Saturday night. Satellite photos taken after the attack show three impact points.

Attack on Russia: three targets hit

According to data from the Wikimapia service, the Ukrainian agency reported that one strike hit a technical and operational hangar, the second an open area, and the third one of the fuel depots.

Radio Free Europe pointed out that the satellite photos confirm Russia's statement that the attack did not damage any combat aircraft.

The 31st Fighter Aviation Regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the 1st Mixed Aviation Division are stationed at the Millerovo airport.
