Zelensky warns of Putin's threats to regional stability

Volodymyr Zelensky warned of Putin's plans. In his opinion, more provocations from Russia can be expected soon. Putin is doing everything he can to continue this war. He will go further and consider targeting other countries, warned the President of Ukraine. He assessed that Putin might try to "intimidate" Poland and the Baltic states.

Zelensky shared his concerns during a meeting with the UK Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, in Kyiv. According to the Ukrainian president, the Russian dictator may once again try to involve Belarus in the conflict with Ukraine.

"With Putin’s ambitions and the actions we see today, it is evident that he has no intention of stopping this war. He will continue pushing forward, considering other countries as potential targets. Many in Europe, and possibly the United States, will view this as an intimidation tactic targeting Poland, Lithuania, and other Baltic partners," Zelensky cautioned.

In his opinion, "Putin really wants" Belarusian troops to actively engage in military actions against Ukraine.

Zelensky asks for support: "It's part of your defense"

The President of Ukraine once again appealed for support in defending against Russia.

"If you don't want to be spending your entire budget on defence in the future, invest the necessary percentage today and take steps to strengthen your defence now," stated Zelensky, addressing Western allies.
