Yacht test by Napoli's de Laurentiis ends player's contract hopes

According to journalist Valter De Maggio, Aurelio De Laurentiis conducted a test on a yacht, and a player failed. The second glass of rum and coke, which the athlete indulged in, squashed any chance of signing a contract.

Aurelio De Laurentiis has been at the helm of the Naples club for years. As the owner and president of SSC Napoli, he has achieved notable milestones, such as winning the Serie A championship and making it to the Champions League quarter-finals. However, this season hasn't been as fruitful for the Azzurri, prompting Aurelio De Laurentiis to scout for methods to reclaim their glory.

One strategy involves bringing in a new coach and players. They would be wise to remain vigilant if they entertain the notion of unwinding with alcohol during negotiations with Aurelio De Laurentiis.

The president of Napoli hosts potential club members for talks at his Capri residence, an island close to Naples. A film producer's yacht, docked nearby, provides a spectacular setting for these discussions.

Journalist Valter De Maggio reports that Aurelio De Laurentiis offered a player a drink. Although the first glass of rum and coke didn't upset the president of Napoli, the second glass ended any prospects of a contract. He expects his players to lead more athletic lifestyles.

Aurelio De Laurentiis returned the yacht, leaving the disheartened player on the shore. He failed the unique recruitment test. The player in question for Napoli is Hubert Idasiak, the reserve goalkeeper.
