XXL cheeseburger casserole: A party showstopper

It looks unassuming but reveals a delicious interior filled with cheese, ground meat, bacon, pickles, and sauces once you cut into it. It's rich, filling, and, above all, very tasty. Everyone's jaws drop whenever I place the ready cheeseburger on the table.
XXL cheeseburger version
This casserole is simply irresistible. Ideal not only for a party, the XXL burger is also perfect as a hearty family dinner. It can also replace a birthday cake for a meat lover—just stick some candles in it, and it's ready. Fast food enthusiasts will be in seventh heaven.
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 500 g all-purpose flour,
- 20 g fresh yeast,
- 40 g sugar,
- 200 mL milk,
- 1 egg,
- 100 g softened butter,
- ½ teaspoon salt.
Add-ons:
- 400 g ground beef,
- 1 teaspoon salt,
- 2 tablespoons ketchup,
- 2 tablespoons mustard,
- 6 slices cheddar cheese,
- 30 g pickles,
- 140 g sliced bacon,
- 1 egg,
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds.
Instructions:
Step 1. Pour the all-purpose flour into a bowl. Add the fresh yeast mixed with sugar, pour in the milk, add the egg and start kneading the dough, gradually adding softened butter and salt while kneading. Form a ball, place it in a bowl, and cover it. Set aside for 2 hours to rise.
Step 2. Sauté the ground beef in a pan with heated oil, seasoning it with salt. Fry the bacon in a dry pan.
Step 3. Transfer the risen dough onto a counter and knead it for a bit. Tear off pieces of dough and use them to line the bottom and part of the sides of a 20 cm diameter baking pan. Spread with ketchup and mustard.
Step 4. Next, layer part of the sautéed beef and cheese, more beef and cheese, sliced pickles, and fried crumbled bacon into the pan. Cover with small balls of dough and brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and place in an oven preheated to 170°C. Bake for 30 minutes.
Step 5. Cut the ready XXL cheeseburger into slices like a cake. It tastes best when warm. Enjoy!
